King Stand By Me Foundation is to assist various civic organizations in their missions to improve the quality of life of the people they serve, and to assist young people who have accepted responsibility for their emotional, social and educational growth and development. The major thrust of the foundation will be to assist those organizations that provide services in the areas of poverty, substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, teen pregnancy and domestic violence. The foundation will also assist individuals in their quest for post-high school educational goals.

The Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation’s work focuses on the well being of children undergoing major medical treatment through the establishment and improvement of hospital programs, environments and professional services that reduce the stress of hospitalization for newborns, children and their families. The Floating Hospital for Children, part of Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, is the primary recipient of our funding.

Currently the Foundation is raising money to enhance the environment in which care is given to critically ill infants and children being treated in the pediatric intensive care unit and the newborn intensive care unit of the Floating Hospital for Children. The Foundation is interested in funding both the purchase of specialty medical equipment and enhancing the “softer side” of ICU environments to provide spaces where parents can comfortably stay with their sick child and partner with the medical team treating their child.
